How good is this Sub?
How does it compare to the Ultra-13?

    Here's what Ed had to say when I was debating a 3rd sub in my HT comparing the two.

    "The Plus/2 in the 20 Hz tune has about the same max output capability as the PB13U. The two trade places depending on the test frequency, but in-room SPL peaks on source material will be similar from either. Adding a 3rd Plus/2 or a PB13U to your dual Plus/2 will increase max SPL capability by about 3 dB (around 40% more acoustic output). "

    Agreed, The Ultra-13 has a Fatter bigger sound, the Plus/2 has a lil
    quicker sound. Both have outrageous Output and hit hard. I will be selling
    this Plus /2.

    did you start a thread asking how good a sub is and then sell said sub the very next day??? I'm so confused...

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

    Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

    Sounds like it, but I think he has a 13U and was wanting to add a second sub. Not sure what happened there.
