I was following a thread for stylus cleaner
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101739
and Joe recommended the Onzow Zerodust.
I am obsessive about cleaning my stylus and have been using MFSL Lab #9 that is very effective but you have to be careful to not let the cleaning fluid run into the cart body as it may damage the suspension.
I received my Onzow Zerodust yesterday which is easy to use and safe for stylus tip and body. It will also clean the bottom of the cart body.
Anyway, I listened to several albums last night and the biggest difference I found is how much quieter my albums sounded.
I have say it must work better than the Lab #9 stuff.
Thank you Joe for sharing your knowledge and teaching us to fish.
This was the best purchase based upon $ and performance improvement I have made in my vinyl rig.

I'm with Smith. Based on Joe's recommendation in the afore mentioned thread, I too purchased the Zerodust a few weeks ago. Absolutely awesome. I don't know what the material in it is, but it just sucks off dust and particles, sometimes without even touching the stylus. I bought it from RonTokyo on ebay for $39 which is cheaper than most of the online stores. Funny thing is that it can be had in Japan for about $20.
Everything Joe recommends is great. So great, that sometimes I try to avoid clicking the link to his recommendations because I know that means I'll be spending some cash!!! -
I try to keep my hands off my stylus...
But in any case the Onzow is the best bang for the buck accessory I've used.Vinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -

I've been the guinea (don't start on my Italian heritage!:D) pig for you guys in that I try all kinds of stuff that cost money then finally find something that is really great and pass on the good forturne!!! It just blows me away that my albums are quieter now, I did not expect that.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

Nope, but I'll have one in a week or so (got it off eBay as recommended.)
I've been using the same Discwasher SC-2 stylus brush with IPA for 40 years. My 40 year old Zerostat still works, too! -

Mine too and I gave the Discwasher SC-2 system, along with the record brush to Audiobliss a few years ago. -

I aim for the middle.
I do occasionally clean my Zerodust with some distilled water to remove its blackheads......much better than Clearasil.

You can use dish detergent with the distilled water Ted. I believe that what the terribly translated instructions recommend. Although they don't mention distilled water it just says "warm" water.
