All I can read on that picture is "Acoustic" and it looks like an adjustable XO.

You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you! -
Yeah, I'm digging but not finding anything on the company. Seems to be either late 70's "kabuki" or White Van Specials.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss those as white van or kabuki.
The woofers look like they might be Credence, which are very good.
I was just looking at a thread on audiokarma about speakers made by Acoustic Control Corp, which are legendary performing amps, but they also made nice vintage speakers. I'd look a bit more if I were you, those might be worth it.
edit:
I now concur with the above posters- whitevan

Those are junk, one of the first white van jobs, like many others - used a name similar to 'Acoustic Research' to reel people in.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Thanks guys. I didn't actually know that bit of (audio) history, not having been born yet and all. I'll stay FAR away from those things. And Jstas, thanks for the link. A few of those threads were worth a read-through.

I've already talked to them. The amp I'm more interested in (it was listed in Stereophile about 10-15 years ago), but I doubt I'll get it.polkaudio Monitor 5 Series II

LMAO.
A friend on mine has the exact pair.
He dubs them "white van specials"
Too funny. -
This is true.
I found a pr. of these in the ditch on a country road.
I brought the set home, took the Woofers out and threw the rest away.;)Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
