A shame!!!
More from the article:
THESE are the first shocking pictures of smoking toddler Ardi Rizal - who throws tantrums if he can't puff 40 cigs a day.
The Sun told on Saturday how the two-year-old got hooked after dad Mohammed gave him a **** at 18 months.
Now he weighs 4st and trundles round on a toy truck blowing smoke rings - too unfit to run with other kids.
Mum Diana, 26, wept: "He's totally addicted. If he doesn't get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick."

one who catches fish for a living...I suppose its a gender-neutral way of saying fisherman. The term comes up quite often in discussions of this trade in Asian histories / cultures / societies (at least that I've noticed)2 Ch.

Child abuse!!! Plain and simple! Also, turning the kid into a nicotene addict at 18 months will surely turn him into a drug addict & alcoholic in later years. Good Lord!

I think "fishmonger" also applies to someone who just sells fish. Here in my area people talk about the local fishmonger but it's just the seafood store, not the actual fisherman.
Chris -
^^^^ yep. It is a seller of seafood.

Yes, upon looking up the definition of the term you are correct. I've also discovered that it was (originally) chiefly a British term. I've primarily encountered the term in texts (rather than in speech), when it has been applied to describe such tradespeople several centuries ago in Asia during an era when most probably they were one and the same (i.e. catcher and seller of seafood).
A very interesting sounding word nevertheless.
