FYI. Last week I exchanged my 7 week old NAD T755 AVR for a new T765. The T755 was demo model, and I paid $699 for it. When discussing my exchange with Saturday Audio, they mentioned that although they'd give me my full purchase price back (they have 90 day full exchange policy), they wouldn't in turn be able to re-sell it for $699. Not sure what this unit was selling new for, have seen it $1199 and up it seems. saw a refurb at spearit for $799 recently.
Anyway, i can vouch that this is an outstanding receiver and in absolutley perfect/mint shape cosmetically. if anyone is looking for an NAD-quality peice of gear basically new and at a great price, this would be worth looking into and making a call to satruday audio. although i added 2 seperate amps to run my RTI12 low freqs, I did run center, surrounds, and the 12's high freqs from the 755 and can assure you this unit is typical NAD--some very clean, more than ample reserve/dynamic power. do not be swayed by the conservative specs--many on this forum will attest to NAD's power. if you havent ever looked at or heard NAD before, give it a look. it's a 'music-first' philosophy from designers well known for their amps.
thanks...tim
