My wife thinks SDAs look better than Wilsons, so it could be worse I guess. Not that there would be anything bad about a pair of Wilsons in your house... :D

Are those the ones that look like municipal trash recepticles? If so, no contest on the "looks" between them and SRSs:D

His spelling ain't too good....I think he's looking for $500 (have=half) of the ones on the ebay auction. They're worth $500 to a LOT of Carver people.:)

Those are nice! Not to be a pessimist but that seller seems like the kind of fellow who doesn't know what he's got, nor how to take care of them. Look at that placement...

$500 is great even if the bass woofer surrounds (if they have foam) are shot and needs some XO loving. Though, if the ribbon/planar is fried or on it's way out, you're screwed.

Again, not trying to be pessimistic, but it looks like a seller who'd spray windex on the ribbon/planar to clean it off.

Yeah, I got a case of the Mondays....

I've contacted this guy before and he has no idea. He was running them off a AVR for awhile and didn't know a thing about them. He also told me he was selling them to "whoever offered him the best deal" at which I told him I was interested but his best deal was some handgun he wanted that was worth at least 1K so I would have to bring something better than that. Even though his ad says he wants half of the ones on ebay its false and he's an idiot.

His email was one of the hardest things to read and he never bothered to send me more photos. I told him the MAX I would go if they were in perfect condition was like 700 and he said that was too little and I would have to bring him something he really wanted.

He also gave me a bit of run around saying that first they were at his old place which was a town house, then he told me they were in storage at his parents house and what not, not a very easy person to talk to so I would be pretty careful dealing.

Meh, pass on those. Nutcases aren't worth dealing with and who know the crap he's done to them.
