Wireing or RCA cable? Need a quick answer.

I wanted to order all my wireing tonight and realized I had this question. Like all subs mine can except speaker wireing or (LFE?) an rca cable from my A/V's one sub out. My A/V HK 347 is on the way. I have Rti8's and love their full range sound. I've read that some A/V's you set speakers to small. I don't understand the details and just want to know if I should run wire's to my sub or just purchase a cable for it. I have the DSW Pro 2000. A short education and recommendation would be appreciated. John

Just hook it up using the sub out on the receiver and the LFE input on the sub. you can set the fronts to small or large with the receiver. You will need to play around with the crossover settings and see if you like it better with the fronts set to small( no bass to fronts below crossover frequency) or large( bass output through fronts and sub). I hope that helps a little:) 80hz is usually a good average starting point. Enjoy!
