I like to find SACD at http://www.sa-cd.net/home. There you can find what is available on SACD and each page has links to multiple paces to buy.

Thanks jmwest. The reason I ask is because I cannot seem to find this lauren hill and mariah carey #1s SACD anywhere. It supposed to be part of a gift for the wife, but everywhere I look they want like $100.00 for these 2 SACDs. That seems crazy to me but I can't find them anywhere except amazon.

At this point in time, a lot of SACD's are out of print, so you won't find them at retail sites. In addition to SA-CD.net, eBay is a good source, but as you're finding out, you will pay a premium. DVD-A never took off and has been dead for awhile now.

    BTW, search under Lauryn Hill

I've been thinking of picking up the Lauren Hill SACD off of ebay for a while. It's relatively affordable when compared to other OOP pop/rock SACD titles.

amazon.com has a GREAT selection of SACDs. Most are priced reasonably; some are dirt cheap, some are $$$~

As mentioned Amazon is about the best place going. Ebay would be next.

If you have time and patience try Bestbuy online site, as you can get some great deals and good prices.

    Example:
Genesis: Duke SACD ($38 amazon) ($25 Bestbuy) (Ebay $25.00 to $63.00)

Really do your homework on some titles as ebay has some very inflated prices!

Amazon is a very good place but there are others that are worth mentioning. Not everything shows up there and you can't always find the lowest prices there even if it is used. I have gone direct to importcds, elusive disc and Music Direct for some. I intend to get some from www.grooves-inc.com in the future. There is also www.AcousticSounds.com, www.JR.com, cduniverse, PrestoClassics, and Chesky to check out. But the overall best source that I have found locally has been Newbury Comics.
I have gotten over 40 of them there at 5.99 a pop. Most all of them were classical or jazz. My guess is that they are trying to unload them because they haven't sold.
I just passed the 90 mark, overall. Too bad so many of them went out of print. I am too cheap to pay the huge prices they demand for the popular out of print ones. The most expensive one I have was 26.99. The next most expensive was 18.99. Everything else was cheaper than that. I would love to have Fleetwood Mac - Rumours but I am too cheap to pay $76 for it.
Front - Polk LSiM 705, Center - Polk LSiM 704c, Rear - Polk LSi 7
    Subwoofer - Epik Legend
Receiver (as Preamp) - Sony STR-DA3400 ES
    Amplifier - Outlaw 7125
    Television - 58" Samsung Plasma PN58B860
Blu Ray - OPPO BDP 83

    Try yourmusic.com
Search title for SACD. There are only a dozen or so, but they are only $6.99. Some elton john and Eric Clapton.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
