I bought some peerless tweets on ebay a while back and I have some monitor 10's ...one with a sl-1000 silver face...and one with an sl-2000...Im' pretty sure sl-2000 was the original tweet and am told I will need to add something in with the capacitor to make the xover correct...does anybody know what I need to add please? I intend to make these peerless tweeted 10's..I know the cutout is slightly larger but it still gets an airtight seal.

IMO, you'd be much better off going with the RD0194-1 tweeters. Drop in replacements and they sound better than the overrated Peerless.

Agreed I wasn't overly impressed with the peerless tweeters.

Also crossover mods would be needed. The cutout for the tweeters differ also.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Fortunately you shouldn't have TOO much trouble selling the Peerless for what RD0s cost with the ClubPolk discount. And that way you're getting a brand new set of tweeters too...
