    Just curious...what exactly is "transitional" about them? They just look like a pair of the very first iteration of the SDA-1's. What's different?

    There are tons of different transitional Polk models out there, as we all know.

    Transitional as in the very first rendition of the SDA-1's. Prior to the normal model and all. Posted this because I haven't seen a web version before. :p

    Ah...I was just curious if they differed at all from the originals.

    These are definitely some rarities. You don't see a lot of them around that have the ports in them like that.

    Can you scan and PDF that manual Bob?
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I don't have a scanner at this moment, but I can try and find my sister's old scanner downstairs. No promises it'll be today, but maybe in a day or two I'll make a proper scan. In addition, I'll put together some ref material (ie: good-quality pictures of the speakers, the 3-chamber design, the crossovers, the plates they're mounted on, the SDA cable, etc) in the coming days.
