Used SVS PB-12 Plus/2 price?

I might go take a look at a used PB-12 Plus/2 sub this evening.

What are these going for in the used mkt?

I'm looking around on the internet to try and find my answer but would like some opinions from CP.

I'd consider:
$900: paying premium price, but worth it.
$800: a very fair price...anything under this is a steal.

This is strictly my opinion based on buying mine for $1000 over 4 years ago. Best HT money I ever spent.

I'll be interested to see others' opinions.

Depending on how old it is, I would say 700-900 and hopefully it already has the upgraded drivers in there.

I bought mine couple months ago for $750 with the cherry finish. I don't know if it has upgraded drivers though. How can you tell?

I wanna say the older drivers were silver, the newer ones are black. I could be wrong on that.

I decided not to call on the sub, I think I'll just roll with what I've got.

Sub is # 5 on the list of items and it's located in Ardmore OK.

Got tied up trimming a monster tree out back and really don't feel like making the drive today. Will be working 12's through Tuesday so no free time.

Thought I would turn someone else on to it.

I'm running a 25-31CS with the latest driver......looking for another one.

I would ask the guy to hold it until you demo. No doubt in my mind it would pair up with the 25-31 no problems. I would even see if the owner would go $575 to make the deal even sweeter.

Well I called the guy, he didn't sound like the sharpest stick in the woods.
I had my list of questions written down, he answered the first one.....It's black.
Question # 2 manufacture date sticker/tag? He cut me off said he was out of town until Thursday but would call me then and email pics. Said he didn't know much about it.......WTF?

If the drive isn't too far GWH, I would just go see it, review it and buy it. Regardless of the fact, SVS supports their product line so if you have problems I know for sure they will help you. The only concern I would have is regarding the cabinet condition. I hate scratches and dings, which I why I suggest you go see it with about 550 bucks in pocket.
