Adcom GFA-7500 5 Channel Amp

Up for sale is one of the gems of the Adcom line. This GFA-7500 was used for several years to power my RT5000 system until recent upgrades. It boasts 150wpc into 8 ohms, is THX rated and is a powerhouse. Adding this amp to the system brought my speakers to a whole new level.

I am the second owner. The amp is in very good condition. I rate it a 7.5 out of 10 for age and a few minor cosmetic blemishes. The faceplate shows minor wear but doesn't have any glaring scratches, etc. Age is hard to determine but the manual available online indicates Adcom began manufacturing this model in 1998. I don't know how long the model was in production.

Shipping weight will exceed 60lbs.

I'm asking $500 plus actual shipping. Paypal add 3%.

    Hey Willow, good to hear from you! I picked up 3 Parasound HCA-1200 II amps locally on a deal I couldn't refuse. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind but is close enough and gives me an opportunity to try out Parasound and bumps me up to 205wpc.

    I think I will enjoy them. Can't wait to get my AVR fixed so I can actually use them. Seems like the hardest part is figuring out direction since you don't really know how something is going to sound until you get it home.

    hey thanks doug. my zip is 61559. i am thinking its going to be an arm and a leg to me as well. i heard recently that a new surcharge has been added to my area though im not real sure if its fixed or based on weight.
