I had a dream...

...and no, it was not a wet one for all you perv's out there, Micah.

But, damn I sure miss those first dates. The thrill, the excitment of meeting a new person and getting to know them. The rush of new smells and such. The nerviousness, all part of the fun.

Last night I had a dream about a first date, some blonde chick. Of course, at the wake up point she dumped me because she was pregnant with twins.

Oh well.

Being with the same woman for 15+ years is a long time without dating. Don't get me wrong, I would not change a thing. I just loved going out on first dates.

Dreams are a curse, some sort of punishment.

Peace Out~:D

Why the hell am I posting this anyway

I have enough single friends to make me realize what a hassle dating was. I really have no desire to be in that situation again...

Oh yeah! Wendi has 2 hotties for sisters....such a good thing.

I have a bunch of neighbors that are hotties.

Lilly, married to a hubby that works most all weekends.
    Andrea, divorced.
Me, married to a wife that works most all weekends.

So, last Saturday Lilly comes over to get me to ask some questions about a fence she had put up the week before.

So being the nice guy I am, I service her and walk across the street, to encounter Andrea sitting on the grass by the new fence.

Were talking away (no hubby around, or wife) and the ice-cream man shows up. Andrea asks if I want to share something, I say no, then she asks Lilly, she says yes. (There's a visual all by itself.)

Andrea goes and gets the ice-cream. She comes back over and says and I quote "do you guys want to do a 3-way?". Of course I almost passed out to do the blood loss to my brain. I look over at Lilly who is not more than 12" from me (yum) and we look at eachother, then we both look at Andrea and she says, I ment with the ice-cream, in a joking laugh and I say..."ahhh darn-it". Then, silence and we all look at eachother for a few moments and then laugh.

That was one moment in time that will live on forever. I still get wood over that.

    I will say two things:

One, there is nothing like that moment when a new victim -- er, girl -- goes for your goodies that first time. That's the best moment of pretty much any relationship. It's all downhill from there, as Howard used to say.

Secondly, thank god for being single. It's bliss. And not because I get to pick who to be with, but because I get to BE LEFT ALONE most of the damned time!

Nothing is worth giving up my solitude. Everything else, I can do myself.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that another neighbor of mine (Sarah-Jane) likes to dress like the St. Pauly Girl, you know the beer girl.. Wood, wood, wood.

Thank god my neighbors don't have Polk Speakers.

man, and I thought stuff like that only happened in **** movies....

My sisters in law are widow dressing only. They are evil psychopaths with implants.....

I respect the thoughts of those who wish to remain single and just have to think that the right one hasn't come along yet. I used to think that way until the lovely Wendi came along. Senor Grand can attest, she is pretty amazing.

Well said. However, for a happily married newlywedd my dreams must not crossover. Life is good, happy hunting.

how long have you been married?

I was speaking hypothetically, there isn't a shot of leg out there worth giving up what I have for. That is what I meant.

Four months. Looks like we have the same outlook on our significant others. Good man. Hey Troy, I could use more of your insight toward my upgrade situation - did you see my recent posts on the 55i?

I put my .02 in there earlier, but here it is again. Check them both out. Personally, I would give some creedance to the 600i. The 55i's are good speaks, go low and will play loud. I still think the 600i's will mate better with your center speaker and go low enough especially if you pair them with a sub. I would also check out the 35i's, along with a sub and the 245i center, that is a sweet setup. Give 'em a listen and let me know what you think.

For the record, I am coming up on 6 years and the honeymoon still hasn't ended.

I just reread your original post and where you don't have a sub then the 35i's probably won't cut it. I still say check out the 600i's though.

I can not agree with you guys more. I would not give up what I have for the world. A wife of 10years here in January 02' and a 4.5 year old girl. Let alone the 5 years we dated before we got married 15 years....damn!

But man, that dream bought back some memories of all the fun I had dating. I had a blast and loved it. Although dating could be different now.

Here's a pic of the Peregrine clan at Disney's CA. Adventure from September. Just don't let my wife know, she'd kick my **** if she found out her pic was up here...heeeheeehee.

    sorry about that....

    My system:

    Fronts: RT7's (oh baby)
    Center: CS400i
    Rears: R10's
    Sub: Paradigm PDR-10
    Receiver: Denon AVR 1800

I am pretty happy with it, I think the RT7's are the best bookshelf that Polk has made. The 400i is great too but the 245i is nothing to sneeze at. The R10's make good rears.

If you are looking for a sub, I would investigate the Paradigm line, I really like mine.

I like the receiver pretty well but I would really like to go with separates.
