Last night during heavy t-storms, my rcvr clipped off, so I immediately shut off everything else. I was going to bed anyway, so I didn't check it at that time. Well, I just tried to turn it on, and the only thing it does is 'MCACC advanced' flashes? Is there an internal breaker I can reset? I tried killing the power at the surge strip, and turning back on, but no luck.:(
I don't want to have to ship it back, but I will if that's what it requires.

Try unplugging it completely and letting it sit for a half hour or so. Then plug it back in and see what you get. That's the best I've got on something like this as it sounds like one of the microprocessors took a hit.

    Good luck.

Sounds like depending on what brand/coverage of surge protection you have you might need to make a call to them for some $$$

How do I do that? I've done everything suggested so far, including taking the cover and checked some of the fuses?

use at your own risk, as i am not a qualified/trained service tech, nor do i pretend to be one, but information wants to be free... this may or may not work in all situations and may even damage the components further... may void your warranty in addition to any other legal disclaimer that may apply here...

you can "release" the error by pressing the "down arrow" and the "zone 2 on/off" for 2 seconds

From AVS and has proven to work.

    booyah! Thank you.:d

I figured with as much stuff as Sherard has, he'd probably come through with the answer. And thanks to xcapri, for following thru.:D

Looks like I'm gonna have to spend some real $$$ to keep this rig in one piece.

Ahahaha, glad it worked. I had to do this myself once, but it was due to **** up some video settings I made. Glad it worked out bro. 1st one is a freebie, so consider it on the house. ;)
