Optical Audio to Analog

I just bought a Polk Audio Soundbar Home Theater System and found that the only audio-out connection on my new LG tv is an optical audio/video output. The Soundbar only has analog inputs. It's the classic problem of trying to put a square peg into a round hole (literally and figuratively).

How can I solve this problem or do I need to take the system back and buy something else?

Thanks!

The audio out on the LG is digital and the surround bar is analog you need a digital to analog converter either stand alone or in an AVR.

Are you sure the only audiou out on the LG is optical. There should also be some analog outs as well. What model is it?
