Hi All; Here are my first pictures of the styluses that I have taken. The first 2 are of a new replacement stylus for a Shure V15 III. The next 1 is of a V15 IV relplacement stylus that did not sound good when playing. Looking at it, it is not hard to see why. the last 2 are of a V15 IV replacement stylus, the first being right of the player with the dust bunny removed, with the next one being after it has been cleaned. I tried to transfer the pictures between computers and they darkened a bit. So I am going to upload direct from the actual computer that took the pictures. I hope this works ok.:D

Hi All; It looks like it worked. I believe the actual diamond is the clear part of the needle. I am not sure really what I am looking at so any feedback would be appreciated.

Completely off topic from the (very cool) images from your USB microscope, but copying or e-mailing an image from one computer to another will not change it. The other computer might show it differently on that computer's screen depending on monitor / brightness / contrast settings, but uploading it from either computer would be identical.
Great pictures though, and I've been following your previous thread with great interest.Speakers: Polk LSi15

Jim, that is good enough for me. This will allow me to inspect my stylis without removing from tonearm and put under microscope.

Hi thsmith; It is very hard to keep in focus. I even had to move my computer mouse from the work table to keep the image stable. I guess you could inspect as long as you have a very stable surface. The scope has to be real close to the object at 400x so clearance might be a problem inspecting on the table.
