I have the original MFSL Original Master Recording from the '80s of the Doobie Brother's "Takin' To The Streets." It's one of my reference LPs.
For the vinyl guys this reissue should be at the top of your list of must have SACD recordings. The mastering is superb and the SQ quality is AAA++++. It's also one of the great SDA showcase LPs so I would imagine this SACD would be just as great. You will hear things never imagined in the original pressings.:) It just a damn shame it isn't being released on vinyl but you never know.
Hurry up! Limited quantities.
Jesse, if you like the Doobs this is right up your alley.
EDIT; I just noticed that it is available on pre owned vinyl too . . . GRAB IT!!! This recording is right up there with the MFSL Original Master Recording of Santana Abraxas.

Thanks, Joe. Already donated my $$$ to George's kids though. If it's available next month I may snag a copy then.
Edit: 145.00 on pre-owned vinyl! Too rich for my blood.
:eek::eek::eek: Didn't dig that far but if the funds were available I still highly recommend it especially if it is truly near mint but if it had one tick or pop I would want my $145 back. I've had mine for 25 years and its dead quiet. -
