VM10 mount on an OmniMount 6mm threaded insert? (ceiling mount)

Hi all, first time posting, and of course a question:
I need to mount a couple of VM10s on a ceiling, but need to angle the speaker more than 30 degrees, so the included plastic mount will not really work. There are two threaded holes in the back of the VM10. It looks like two of the "OmniMount 5" mounds with the short threaded inserts would work great, but "This mount will only fit and securely mount speakers with 6mm pre-threaded inserts. If you are unsure about the insert, please contact the speaker manufacturer." Will these fit?
The plan is to mount two of these speakers at something like a 45 degree angle, used for the Rear of the 7.1 home theater system. If they fit this looks like it would be a really slick way to install these on the ceiling, never seen it done this way before. .

I am doing this for my parents, bought em the speakers, so i am not actually doing the work, live about 6000 miles away from them:) I can't personally check the threading and bolt size!

The VM10 utalizes a 1/4" #20 threaded insert. The compatible mounts from omnimount would be the OmniMount 10.0
