Wire connection for Atrium 5 speakers

Hello all,
I just installed a pair of Atrium 5 speakers outdoors. They are fairly well protected from weather. I wanted to use banana plugs at the mounting posts for easy connection but none that I have tried will fit. The connection opening is fine but because of the slight angle of the posts there just isn't enough room for a standard size banana plug. I even overpaid for a small set of Monster plugs but they didn't fit either. Does anyone make an offset type banana plug? Any other type of connectors that will work?

I don't know if the speakers will accommodate them but you've definitely given me some new ideas!

I have the same problem here in the year 2016! The best I found were the Monoprice ones. The body of the banana plug doesn't fit inside the cutout in the speaker, but I can insert the whole tip into the binding post. They are skinny enough to just squeeze in there. It would be nice to find a shorter banana plug that would fit inside of the cutout, but these are working so far.
