So I decided to start back up running after taking 3 months off. So I also got a ipod touch for my schedule so I decided to buy the nike sport sensor for it to keep track of how I am doing. So today after all my school is done I decide to start. So I get dressed and put the sensor under my laces. I start off running and look down to make sure it was still there. Not even .1 miles later I look down and it is gone. Now I have to back track and look for it and considering I am in a wooded area I can not find it. 30 bucks down the drain if I can not find the darn thing. Either I will look for it with the metal detector in a bit or have to buy a new one.

Just had to vent

I'd think you'd have better luck looking visually then with a metal detector.

Aren't there apps for the iPod to track running or at least do the same kind of thing?

Actually isn't ther an app for the iPod to tell you where you lost the Nike thing? ;)

Ah I thought the Nike sensor was for tracking how many steps you've made, etc. and figured with all the sensors in the iPod's that they surely have some app to do the same.

Hopefully you find it, but if not, maybe this would be better since you have the iTouch already?

Garmin 305 for your running needs. It rocks and is dirt cheap compared to everything else out there.
