Squeezebox analog connection on HK AVR...

I recently discovered that in order to access 2-channel "Direct" mode on my Harman/Kardon AVR, the source must be analog. In the past, I had always connected my Squeezebox receiver to my AVRs via digital connections, as I preferred the DACs in the AVRs (Yamaha) to the one in the SBR. Having almost given up on 2-channel listening via my HT rig, I hadn't played with direct mode on my HK until just the other day. Unlike my Yamahas and my Onkyo, there is no button to press or option to select in order to set direct mode on the HK. (Actually, HK calls this "Analog Bypass Mode".)
The conditions are for enabling Analog Bypass Mode are: 1) you need an analog source, 2) you must be in 2-channel stereo mode, and 3) you must turn the tone control setting to Off. Once I had established the first two conditions, the difference was incredible when I switched the tone control to Off! I'm wondering how many others don't realize this option is available to them on their HK AVR...
