yup, starting a new thread helps... can't get someone to answer one thread so troll out a new one. Way more responses no matter what brand/model sub. Maybe a third will get 20 replies per hour...Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

I have the same sub, and the point of the bi-polar configuration is that it you really cannot localize the sound and it blends really well with your mains into one cohesive soundstage. You will ruin ALL of that by putting it into the closet, besides what toxis said in the other thread about the sound being muffled. If you are building the room from scratch why not a DIY project with the sub in the floor or in the wall? I have seen some really cool in floor DIY subs that hit hard and low, and you could get a good portion of the parts for the price you could sell your sub for. Just a thought, but sub in the closet? No go...
