Preamp for 2 Channel

So I picked up some LSi9s and a B&K 200.2. I have been eyeballing the Arcam FMJ C31 for the preamp. Anybody have any experience with this preamp? Also any other suggestions to take a look at before I pull the trigger on one of them? My price range is $500-$1500. Thanks in advance.

    Well, if I were you, I would look into a tube preamp. You should be able to pick up a Rogue 99 preamp for $1500.

    I recently picked up an Audio Mirror T-61 line stage tube pre on sale from Audiogon for $800.00 plus shipping. Dont know if they are still on sale. Regular price was $1300.00 I think. Very nice tube pre, built with nice componants, and nice looking as well. I am hearing things I never heard before, and it just keeps getting better.

    In that price raange many used choices are available.

    There is a nice Anthem Pre 2L on AUdiogon for $650 and I bet he will take $600.

    Has HT bypass and a remote. Some nice tubes and you will find majic.

    What is the difference between a Rogue 99 and the Rogue Perseus? Looks like the Rogue 99 is discontinued, but there are some ads on Audiogon for both amps at about the same price point....

    I ended up picking up a Rogue Magnum 99 w/ phono off Audiogon. Should sound great with my new TT :D
