Just ordered a 2nd sub

I have 1 stf-1 hsu sub and just ordered a 2nd. It is my understanding that I can hook up from my amp the left speaker level in to the left sub and out to my left lsi9's. The same for the right channel.
Is this true or do I have to use the rca pre out with a y-splitter to both subs?
Also what advantages/dis-advantages would the 1st option have? This is for 2 channel music only system. I listen at really low volumes and can localize 1 sub too often imo.
Oh and I would like to place each sub near each of my lsi9's in the front of my room.

From what I've gathered over the years is that option 1 would provide you with "true" stereo bass imaging and would be the optimum method for your listening preferences. Kudos on trying to place them as near your mains as possible too. This will keep the lower frequencies seamlessly anchored to the mains. Let us know how it turns out. :-)If you don't drive a Jeep, then please stay on the pavement.

Cool that is what I was thinking. I just love the HSU business model. Do not give fake specs and give good customer service. Hmmm, wonder why they have been is business for over 20 years? Just like Polk.
Great company Polk/HSU IMHO. -
Yes they are!! In fact, I'm giving great consideration to purchasing a HSU ULS-15 in the near future. ;-)If you don't drive a Jeep, then please stay on the pavement.
