    I will post back what the says and is looking for in money. Sounds like is looking for offers which may be way outside my price range but this is the first set I have seen for sale in this area.

    Also, there's a guy in Coppell, TX who sells a lot of polk stuff on AudiogoN. You can search on the user name Jamesemaj if you want to find his listings there. I've never done any business with him, and I have no reason to think these are being offered by the same guy, but if you go to see the speaks and see lots of other audio equipment lying around it might be the same horse trader.

    I only mention this because there's a lot of bizarre pricing behavior on a lot of his offerings. As an example, he's got a pair of SDA 2's in sale pending status. I think the starting price on those was $450, then $400, then $370, then $600?!, then $350 and finally a sale pending. His Montior 10's have bounced around a lot too. If it's the same guy, you should definitely haggle!

    Thanks, On3s&Z3r0s. I had not seen those, and theyre within about 90 minutes from my house. I'd have to add $400 to the price right away for tweeter upgrades, and even more to do the XOs. Thanks for the heads-up!

    For those of you who have communicated with her--what are the circumstances that precipates the sale?Divorce/recent loss of spouse?If it's either of the two she's probabally been jerked around by the usual bozo's that inhabit craigslist,,if so you guys need to step up a do the right thing,,,thanks.

    George, she bought them from her uncle but never used them and she is now moving to a smaller place.

    I have tentitive agreement to meet her tomorrow but so far she has not provided a contact number or address.

    She is looking to get $2000 for them.

    COuld not go today because work issues pop up this weekend but we are to get together after work one night.

    AT $2000 I am not interested but am at less than that. If you are willing to pay that price I can go check them out for you. I do not believe there is a way to play them as she has never had them hooked up.

    If she takes my offer fine but if not and you are then I can store them in my garage until you can make it to Dallas.

    Good luck. I actually scooped up a pair of 1.2TLs yesterday at a consignment shop here in metro Atlanta. Four of these bad boys really do take of some floor space.

    Keep me posted. My wife may have calmed down by tomorrow (or Tuesday) evening.
