Speaker stand recommendations for FXi A6 surrounds?

Hey folks,

I just picked up a lovely RTi set of speakers (A7s for fronts, CSi A6 for center, and FXi A6s for surrounds). Now I need a new set of speaker stands (the tiny ones I have for my current tiny surrounds will never support the FXi A6s). Anyone who has these speakers got a stand they'd particularly recommend? I'm looking at the Sanus NF and SF series, the NF36 and SF34 models in particular. They seem like they'd be decent but aren't sold anywhere locally that I can find, which means buying sight unseen from an online dealer. I don't mind this as long as the stand's well reviewed, which both of these seem to be, but personal experience from somebody who's got a set of FXi A6s and a stand to support 'em would be nice too. :)

    I have the same speakers as you and also looked for stands but with little luck in finding help identifying what was needed, so I asked Polk! Specifically, I asked what stands they had used in their "systems" photograph with the FXiA6s.

    They did respond to my email but did not have the specific info I was looking for. It's been a while - and I didn't follow up, but it was a Sanus product and Polk may give you more specifics if asked.

    I also thought about linking the Polk systems photo to an inquiry sent to Sanus but ...

    Heh, I thought I *was* asking Polk. :) I had seen Polk representatives answering some of the questions in here so I figured one of them might chime in. Knowing that the Sanus ones work fine is enough to help out. There are a couple of places that sell Sanus stands near me so I think I will take the FXis with me and see how well they work out!

    Sanus Natural Foundation Stands. I used them all the way around on my Polk LSi Set up and they even worked great for the LSiFX surrounds. I hope this helps you in some way. You can see them if you click on the link in my signature.

    hey thank you... i have full sized towers for my fronts so i ordered some 36" sanus natural cherry for my surrounds... are you adhering your fronts onto your stands via anything like blu-tack?

    Nope, I use some rubber feet stuck to the platform on the stand.
