PSW-250 is being retired in lieu of the new sub I am getting.
It is in great condition and I have used it for a couple of years without any issues. Never abused it as I live in an APT and was never able to crank it up. I have the original Manual and Packing. Asking $95 plus buyer pay the shipping from 77057.

Izafar,
Just wondering...I just purchased the Rti 70's with PSW-250 and CSi 30. Are you happy with the sound from your Denon? I have a Sony 5x100W DTS and I am wondering whether the Denon would enhance the sound or are the 2 receivers pretty much the same? Don't know if it is worth the change or not. Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,

Steve,
I personally think that any Denon will be better than Sony's non-ES line. I was previously using my Denon AVR-2802 to drive the RTi70s. In that configuration I found the sound to be bright and at the same time it was pretty thin in the bottom end. I then added the Carver multi-channel amp and it improved things a lot. The major improvement was in bottom end, which now has equal weight as high end.
I would suggest you to look for AVR-3802/3803 and you will be very happy. If your current receiver has pre outs, then consider adding separate amp to it as a first step. Then you can change your receiver to a better receiver or pre-processor later on.
On a side note, how are you finding the PSW-250/RTi70 combo? I am personally very disappointed with this combination, they never seem to blend with each other, and if you look at the specs, the lower -3db limits on both is about the same. So adding this sub with these mains doesnt help much.-izafar

Thanks for your input Izafar. I don't even have the speakers yet. They are all in transit as we speak. I have heard though that the PSW-250 would not be a benefit to my system. I wonder if upgrading to the next level sub would help? I may just ship it right back when it comes and not even open it. Thanks for the insight on the Pre-out...maybe that is another option. Can't wait to hear the Polks! They are coming Tuesday.Rti70's

I share your pain man. I am also waiting for the SVS PB1 to arrive on Monday.
I think you should definetly re-consider your sub choice, and a great way to start would be to look at SVS offerings. Next in line Polk sub would be BETTER, but you can get much better subs for the money by going with other brands.-izafar
