Replaement speakers for Monitor 10b?

I've got a pair of Monitor 10b's that I bought in the early 80's. One of the 6&1/2-inchish speakers is rattling it's voice-coil at above-moderate volumes. It's not blown. It's just come unglued after 25 years.

What are my replacement speaker options from Polk? I have already replaced one speaker direct from Polk YEARS ago. I was very satisfied with the service. But I have got no response from Polk for my latest needs.

What are my replacement-speaker options from... elsewhere - say PartsExpress http://www.parts-express.com/home.cfm

I'm not being a smart-**** here. I would like a Polk driver. But if the Polk option is unavailable, how else can I replace my 6&1/2-inch PolkAudio Monitor 10b mid/bass element?

    DO NOT use a driver from Partsexpress in your Monitor 10's. It will never sound right.

    As F1 mentioned above, CALL Polk CS...don't email them. You'll get much quicker service over the phone. Tell them what you need, and they'll take care of you.

    Mention that you're a member of Club Polk for a discount!!

    The driver is directly available from Polk; just give them a call. I have a pair in my 10B's right now, MW6503 I believe is the code. They work just as well as the old ones. Good luck and enjoy those Polks! ;)
