PSW110 install problem

Just moved into a new house and hooked up my system over the weekend. I have a Denon AVR3310CI home theater receiver and the low voltage installer ran a COAX cable for the subwoofer in the walls. Bought two RCA adapters and hooked up coax to them behind a wall plate. Attached Sub with one RCA cord and receiver with another. Not getting any sound from the sub. Went and attached sub directly to receiver worked fine. Went through and checked all connections. All look ok but still no sound. Is there anyway to test the COAX line to see if it is the problem or is it the RCA jacks? Any help would be greatly appreciated I am beyond my limited knowledge.

Ok all. Here is an update and now I am really stumped. I bought an Ohm meter to test the line and connectors (thought that had to be the problem) and no impedence of the line at all. Could it be that the Receiver isn't putting out enough power for the subwoofer? Don't know what to try now.
