In I am planning on changing these posts to something better and this would help in this endevaor :)

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Cool, since your screen name is Vette C6.R I assume you have a C6? If so, I have a question - what's the best way to jack up a C6 without scratching the frame? This is just for a simple oil change, BTW. Thanks!

The best way to jack them is buy a very hard rubber spacer that fits into the frame holes in the body then to the jack. Every Vette mag has them in it.

I have a C4. That is the only car that scared me to get under. You really have to jack the heck out of it to get under it.

The screen name is from the Corvette Racing Team.

Thanks, the vette is a lot lower than my Nissan and I couldn't find places to safely jack the car up without using something in between like hockey pucks or the like. And since the transmission is in the rear of the C6, you have to jack up both sides (front and back) to do a drain/fill when the time comes. Oh well.
