Any body has it or seen it. Iam thinking of buying this one. So far i have read good reviews about it. The another one iam thinking of is, Tosihba SD 5700.

Please post your opioniions. I need a DVD player that can do the MP3 and Progressive Scan. I can wait some more time for a good DVD Audio player.

Thanks in Advance.

PS: If any body wants to sell their old ones, please email me at gprabu@yahoo.com

    gprabu,

I just picked up my sd5700 toshiba.....great player, no problems yet after one week, it plays dvd audio, mp3,progressive scan, etc.
i hope to use it on my next tv...sony wega 450xbr....and it was pretty cheap ...399.99 canadian before tax.....i think the denon is quite abit more expensive but it is also a good machine.....go and have a test run and see which one looks better for you and how much you want to pay.

    gprabu,

sorry, i can't say too much about the denon...maybe take a look at audioreview.com....however, if you get the sd5700....try out the dvd audio 6channel discrete and see what you think!...I found it pretty good....something in ways of prologic 2, or logic 7 from harman kardon .....interesting format.....well, whatever decision you make..... have fun!

by the way.....what is the retail price for the 5700 in the US?
i had different quotes.....one place offered it for 488.00 but another smaller stereo/tv shop gave me the best price of 399.99
and i said, sold....canadian dollars.(not bad for a cinema series)
