Phono pre

ok I know it sounds stupid but does anyone have an inexpensive phono pre they would be looking to sell? When I mean inexpensive I really mean it like 50 bucks or less. I know I"m not asking for anything great due to the price but seeing I went all out with getting a new table I'm limited on budget right now. I plan on getting a decent one sometime soon. Any ideas?

How about $60?

Chris, I bought one of these last year, just to test it out and have it as a spare.

Erik's offer above is a better one. The Behringer does the job, just like adding Phono switch to your Preamp/Receiver if it has none. SQ is very decent, nothing fancy.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
Hmm I think I might take that Erik, how is it for sound quality? Do you think it would pair well with a Music Hall 2.2LE (the table I got).

Well - you get what you pay for - so don't expect too much from a unit that only cost $80 new - but it does a nice job and should work as your temp fix.
It is touted as a NAD PP-2 killer -so take that for what its worth....

I'll be taking Erik up on his offer, than you for the other offer however as I really do respect it greatly!
(the NAD was also one I was looking at possibly getting if I bought something new for a temp fix so this should work nicely!) -

Curious, if you have a 2100, you don't want to use the built in phono section? Input 1 on the back has a switch for Moving Magnet, Moving Coil, or Line.
Edit, let me guess, the SEP is your 2ch pre, and your sig isn't up to date?
Cheers,

Correct. My sig isn't up to date and seeing the SEP-1 doesn't have one I want to try the new tubes and the phono pre with it to see how I like it, and then and only then will I decide on which one to keep (will probably be the SEP-1 but who knows). -

lol I have a rule that I try to never buy audio gear unless I have cash for the most part lol. Otherwise I would get myself in too much trouble with a CC and audio gear. hehehe. -
