PSW300 drive foam needs repair, how to?

I have a PSW300 that has a damaged foam ring. The short version of a long story is that a roommate let a rat make its home in my sub and it used the foam ring to make a nest inside the sub.. yah... no longer a roomy, no longer a friend.
How do I repair the foam ring? Is there a kit made specific for this 10" driver that I should use?
Cheers,
Scott

There isn't a kit specifically for it, however you can buy NOS drivers for that sub on eBay. Check out item 360251265315.

$30??? Is that the original OEM for this sub? Dang.. if that's really true, and that's really the price, and it isn't a scam.. that is worth it for the hassle of doing the repair myself.

It's a reputable seller, I've bought from him before. Get a new driver, toss the old one.

Exactly! I see my response wasn't clear on that. It's just worth it to replace my driver at that cost. I tell ya.. I didn't post this thread expecting such a pleasant outcome. Thank you!

The ebay listing for the sub is not the right driver for the PSW300. The PSW driver has a humongous rubber surround similar to the Carver true subwoofers...

Why am I here? The driver in the 300 doesn't have 'humongous' or 'rubber' in a description of it's surround. It's a High Velocity Compression Drive Bandpass system, you've never seen the driver unless you've taken the sub apart.
Perhaps you are thinking of the 303 (404, 505, etc) series?Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -

I know.. I've been busy with other things in my life and being an audiophile has really dropped. But, it'll pick up again now that I have a big enough home to build a respectable home theater in the basement.
My last posts were when a speaker in my RT16s failed. I got great advice then as well.

I will pull the driver tonight and confirm what is in it, and also double check the model number of my sub. I bought these speakers over a decade ago, and somehow I still remember the model numbers, or maybe I don't.

I just pulled apart my sub. First thing I noticed is that it is label as both PSW300 and PSW150. Not sure which it really is, but based my memory, retail price, knowing what I paid, and just the look of the two labels I believe it's a PSW300. I took pictures but don't have the ability at the moment to post them. I'll do that tonight.
The driver is labeled as an MW1081.
This thread has more details about my sub, and also a similar problem I've noticed but chalked up to the rat damage.

Pictures so we can figure out what driver I need.

My apologies jon s, I stand corrected, looks just like an original DB series car woofer. That's going to be REALLY hard to find. In the other thread, Ken mentioned the RD2020-1 as a suitable replacement, with slight modification to the driver cutout.
I'll keep my eyes open, I have the same issue right now with my RT20p bass drivers, being oop.

The cut out to fit the driver in through the back is a very tight fit with the existing driver. The slanted sides on the magnet are required to get it in. That will be a consideration for me.
I don't mind doing some mods to make this work as long as they are adequately described.
Thanks for the assistance with this. From other stickers on the inside and looking at the box it is definitely the PSW300 rather than the PSW150.

apologies accepted. i did have to disassemble my sub to repair a separated spider. it was causing a buzzing sound in the bass. I crazy glued the spider to the frame to fix it...
