Sony S-Master Digital Amplifier?

From a Chinese site below...a description of the small D amp in a 2 channel 450 U.S. dollar DVD/CD shelf system CMT DH888BT (made for the Chinese market). Actually it sounds OK for a kind of executive mini-system and for a Sony? Not what I'd call audiophile...but very 'acceptable' for price and size! Of course...nothing like this for Sony in the U.S. market.

So the question is....does anyone know more about this D amplification than the tiny blurb translated below! Has anyone 'heard' of this before??

Some other site here claims some of this is used in ES AVRs? Yes or No!

""Sony mini speakers with S-Master Digital Amplifier * technology, the digital processing of sound signals, eliminating the analog signal modulation error and the heat distortion.""

That's REALLY interesting...because the little amp in this Sony Mini system is 'very' clean for what it does!

That 7100ES is a beast. I run mine in the living room setup and for powering the outdoor Atrium 60s. If it wasn't for the HD decoding and media streaming, it would still be in my dedicated HT.
