RM6750 Powered Sub with Yamaha amp

I am using a Yamaha AV amp and want to connect a RM6750 Sub, but I cannot do it with my current amp. Is there a preamp I can feed the subwoofer to, then feed the preamp into the receiver? If so, do you have any make/model suggestions?
