ive got a pair of these they have a 12 inch woofer. if i dump these for a pair of rti10 will i be dissapointed?

    No. The sm125 aren't bad, but that polycell tweeter is just so cheap...I have learned to hear it's limits. Almost all classic polk are better than those.

    what about the bass is it better than the 125?

    Define "better bass." The SM125 will be boomier, but the RTi10 will be deeper reaching and tighter in the bass.

    im paying around 700 bucks including shipping. for the rti 10 has great looks dont know about the sound . ive heard the monitor 70 its ok. i paid 700 or 800 for the sm 125 back in 97. i just want to know that the rti will sound better in every aspect. in other words is it worth the wife being mad for a couple of days?

    Yeah, it's worth it. The SM125s make great garage speakers.
    I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.
