Serial Number in the 95000s. Tweeter looks like the peerless ones people speak of and its all black.

They are pretty awesome. Sound quality is excellent. They are being driven by an outlaw audio RR2150.

How should i upgrade these things? They just replaced my LSi7s in my 2 channel room which are going to height channel duty now. Anyway, spent $30 on the speakers so don't feel bad about putting a bit down on upgrades.

Great deal. All I would do is upgrade the XO's. If you don't feel comfortable I can do them for you.
    Enjoy

I opened them up and did not see an 'upgrade' switch.

please elaborate! Are there upgraded crossovers to buy, or do I upgrade the caps, wiring, etc?

You will want to upgrade the caps and resistors. There is no "upgraded" XO for the speakers.

is there a recommended parts list for value? or just newer components with the same resistance and capacitance (or at least voltage, higher capacitance can't hurt too much) ratings from audio companies?

You would use the same rated uf for the caps, and resistance for the resistors. You will have better than new speakers.
