Upgradeitis strikes! Any other Epson 8500 owners here?!

    nice upgrade. This one was one on my short list in terms of getting a new PJ. The only thing I don't like is when you have the larger screens but a very short distance you sit from the screen as I find I'm moving my head around a lot trying to take in the full picture. It looks cool and puts you right into the movie just I find it hard when playing video games as I'm looking all around rather than being able to look straight ahead and see (for the most part) the whole screen.

    I realy want a big screen to get all the detail from it .

    Before I had any screen I had my 720p shining on a my wal that was a light grey and the height was like 88 inch by 180 ? . I watched I am legend on and the sheer size made the image much more majestic and seemed bigger than the theater sitting 19 ft back

    Even though the pj was 720 it still looked better than my 1080 so if I build the same size of screen and tension it then I get realy excited thinking about the picture I would get from the epson
