Some serious bad flooding going on, all the best for the folk's in Tennessee. Shack-master, hopefully all is well where you are.

    I am in Nashville tomorrow and Thursday, I will see first hand some of the flooding.

    Nashville, is in really bad shape. We were spared most of the heavy rain here in ET. I've talked to several friends and relatives in the area...some are ok...some have suffered extensive damage. It will be quite a while before some of the areas are back to normal. Steve, did you see the video of the house floating down I-24 that I posted yesterday? If not check it out.

    God Bless the Volunteer State. If I could take the time off to go help, I would be on my way in a heartbeat. M

    May I suggest that each according to their means, call the Red Cross (or other organization of choice) and donate 25.00 to the relief efforts for the good folks of Tennesssee. I have done so already.

    They are now calling the events over the weekend a 1,000 year flood.

    In other words...a flood of this magnitude only occurs on average every 1,000 years.

    Damage is now estimated to exceed a billion dollars in Nashville alone.
