For your consideration.....I have a very clean Carver 900 receiver. Rated at 90wpc, this thing looks great, sounds great. THe tuner on this thing is awesome.....I've got the bigger 'Receiver' and it's going strong so this is just collecting dust in the closet.
I don't have pics, but I assure you that this thing is as clean as you will find.
120....shipped via FedEx ground to the lower 48

Mono tube system? I was working on an OTL tube amp kit. Ran into problem, got tree'd on a work project and haven't had time to troubleshoot it yet... I'm setting up a nice little system for one of the rooms and figured this receiver would have what it takes to handle everything.Vinyl, the final frontier...

Just out of curiosity Troy, which bigger Receiver do you have? I've got an HR-772 that is rated at 140 wpc.SDA-1C (full mods)

It's just the Carver Receiver....it's actually TLW's and will never, ever, see the light of day.
El Grande gave it to TLW....I don't know what the payment plan was, nor do I want to.

Received this yesterday in perfect condition. No marks or scratches, not even any smudges, looks like it came off the Carver line yesterday! Troy wasn't kidding about the condition.
I hooked it up to the DQ-10's and that setup is completely synergistic. Carver knew how to take sound and send it to the speakers, thats for sure. The Carver sound, its hard to beat.
Thanks!

I had forgotten how sexy these carvers were. It could easily blend in with my manley gear if I wanted to use it as a tuner in the big rig.Vinyl, the final frontier...

Congrats on the acquisition. I use this same receiver in my office system at work. I have never conclusively determined what the "ENGAGE" and "NOISE + MULTIPATH" buttons do. Noise & multipath, well, that seems pretty straightforward. But what am I engaging with the engage button? Do you know?

I'll have to play with it. I'm hoping I have a brochure somewhere that describes the receiver. I used to, just don't know where its at. Is it just me or does this receiver seem like a lot more power than 90wpc?Vinyl, the final frontier...

It's certainly well-built. Because mine has always been in my office (small bookshelf speakers only) I've never really been able to crank it too much. 95% of my listening is with headphones anyway. I'm very impressed with the tuner performance, though. It's a nice piece of gear.

Chuck, glad it made it....sorry about the tracking # snafu....things been hectic around here.
