Have an opportunity to buy either the price is on the high side but would really like to get something to hook up to an old Marantz reciever and TT.
There is only 50 $ difference between the models with the 10B of coarse being the higher. Which should i make an offer on if he is willing to drop on price. My current setup is home theater with a Pioneer 1019 / Monitor 60 / 50 / 40 and CS2.

What's the price on them? Personally I'd go with the 10b's.

I like the 7C's more. I had both and the imaging was better on the 7's.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Which 10Bs are we talking about ? There are two different ones 1984-85 with 6600s or 6501s and the SL1000 or 1986-87 with 6503s with SL 2000. While not perfect by any means I think the SL1000s are more tolorable then the SL2000s. and having heard both i prefer the earlier 10Bs between the two of them. I Like 7s also but like the more full sound of the 10s and more slam on the very bottom. It is your ears.
