I love the eagles...always have. My HFO dvd is amazing! And I was immediately captured by long road. The eagles have more talent than should be allowed in one band. That level of musicianship and talent causes great bands to break up and....oh wait...nevermind...

I saw them last year when they were on their Long Road Out Of Eden Tour.

One of the best concerts (if not the best) I've been to...bar none. They still have IT after all these years. You should have a great time!

Yep, we bought 3 and I could have bought some some good used audio gear for that price or some very nice tubes;).

Just saw them a few weeks ago in Anaheim. I hadn't seem them since Hell Freezes Over Tour. They still put on a good show. Played a bit too much of their new stuff (6 or 7 songs from new album). What also surprised me was how much of each's solo work they played, especially Joe Walsh's solo stuff (I think at least 3 songs). But, I don't think they played any songs from Glen Fry's solo career. Anyway, I would have preferred more Eagles songs.

One thing I love about their concert is that they play songs from the Eagles, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh. How great is that?

    Have fun tomorrow!

    Ok, a few details.

Hotel California started out with a trumpet player and everyone around me wondered what the song was. I said it has to be Hotel California just because of the intro. Hell Freezes Over says it all.

Glenn Frey and Don Henley still compete for space. They both still have GREAT vocals and closing my eyes was like sitting in my home listening to these guys. Well, their sound system is a little better. Ya Right!

Joe Walsh, what can I say? Superb guitar playing and the Man can still sing. Hey, these guys are in their 60's and are a real tribute to the music world. Timothy Schmit played his usual role in the corner and I really wish he had of sang "Love Will Keep Us Alive." My wife and I had that played at our wedding.

The harmony of these guys is second to none. There were times I thought I was at home listening to my rig. Only the odd distant odor reminded me that I was not at home.

As the applauding continued for an encore, my only thought was Desperado. Sure enough, Henley closed the show on the 3rd song of the encore with Desperado. What a voice. A small tear ran down my check as I finished the evening listening to one of my favorite bands of all times. I am really glad my wife and I had the opportunity to see these guys before for they hang up the towel, which will be real soon.

The Eagles performance last night sounds exactly like Mikes experience.

They played for 3.5 hours in Dallas last night.

Don Henley had a 5 minute standing ovation, of course Dallas is his home.

MY wife, her sister and I walking out said this was the best concert we have seen. They have seen the Eagles 3 times and believe this was their best performance to date.

Definitely worth the price of the admission.

WARNING...Be prepared for Henley to jump into one of his political rantings at anytime.Other than that, you will hear some great music.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

Unlike most of the "We're broke and need to tour to make some money groups"...The Eagles are getting better with age...like a fine wine. Their concert I went to see last year rates among the best I have ever been to...and that includes over 40 years of concerts.

Have fun, you should enjoy the show. Someone mentioned this above, but I honestly can say that the Eagles sound better today then they have in years. This recent tour has sold out and is by far a fantastic musical journey for any Eagles fan.

Just got back from the Eagles concert. They sounded pretty dang good, cant say they sounded as good as they do on my HFO DVD in my home theater, but still pretty dang good haha. Joe Walsh is simply awesome, and Im not saying that because he's from Wichita. Im not from Wichita, only moved here for work after graduating college a couple years ago, but of all the guys in the band Joe is the most energetic and seems to be just as lively as always.

Anyway I was looking for some info, I am wanting to get another Eagles DVD thats in DTS to add to my HFO dvd. Any suggestions?

Run out and get (lol) "Eagles Farewell I Tour - Live From Melbourne" In my opinion it is better than Hell freezes over. More songs, shot in HD and the group is more interactive. The SD version is crystal clear and sounds amazing.
