Jumper Cables - Like to learn more....

I plan on replacing the stock jumper plate on my speakers with jumper cables. Is it best to use jumpers made from the same gauge and construction as the speaker cable one is currently using throughout their system?
For instance, I am currently using Kimber 8TC speaker cable. Would it be best to go with Kimber 8TC jumpers?
Thoughts, recommendations and alternatives from those Club Polk members who attribute value to cables would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

Matching the cable exactly would always be the best choice. If that is not an option, using 12g speaker wire works as well.
The other option, although only works if you are not using terminations, is to strip back enough insulation on the wires so that you can thread the speaker cable through top and bottom binding posts; in essence using the single speaker cable itself to bi-wire. (I think someone posted a picture on here at some point) -
Thank you zingo. Staying consistant with the existing cables was my guess. Much appreciated.

I agree with matching. It made an improvement in my rig.
