Stopped in at the local Best Buy this past weekend to see what was going on in the Magnolia HT. Playing on the big LCD at the front of the dept was Avatar in Blue Ray. I can only describe my initial reaction as confused-it looked too good! Am I so used to decades of film grain that BD looks unnatural or does this just take some getting used to?

    Is it just me?

    Yes, it IS just you!

Putting my serious-face on for a moment though, it is a beautiful movie and very well done visually. I recently jumped from 60Hz to 120Hz and noticed a big difference.

Best Buy is for people who don't know any better. Magnolia is for people who don't know any better and have more money to spend.
