My milty zerostat only lasted me about a year. 
I play vinyl but not that much... two thumbs down from me..

I have one from the early 80s Larry and it's still going strong! You must have picked up a lemom or else, just like many other things, they just aren't making them like they use to.
Besides how can they eff up a simple piezoelectric device that just applies slow steady pressure to a crystal??? Maybe the crystal is cracked or the pressure spring is off kilter. -
Yes, I agree the older Zerostats are better. I would not buy a new one. I have a late 70's model that is still going strong.For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Found one on Craigslist for $30 it's one of the older white ones. I will say the older ones are built much better, and for $30 it was well worth it..

Larry, is that a Milty or a Discwasher gun? I don't remember if Milty had the rights to it at that time. -

My milty zerostat only lasted me about a year.
How do you know its not working? Never heard of one failing. We have two, one is Discwasher from 1976 (white color) and still works well. The newer one is from 1989 (I think) (Red color) and it's works well also. But like I said we've never heard of one not working. Was it misused in some way? Dropped on to the floor or submerged in water? -
None of the above it just quit working.. I'm happy with the vintage one I got, you can see and feel the build quality in it, the new blue ones are not even on the same page...
