well if anyone ever comes to Green Bay, WI and goes to a place called Hi Fi Heaven for McIntosh gear you are going to be out of luck. They only have 1 amp out on the floor as it looks like Mac pulled the plug with them due to them selling outside of their normal area I guess.

Kinda makes me sad as now if I ever wanted to even hear or buy mac gear I'll have to go to Milwaukee, yet that store doesn't even have a lot in it for them ( I think like 2 pieces at most). Just kinda sad because in the future with the right job they would have been my go to place to buy from.

That's the way of the future.

Pretty soon retail stores won't exist(aside from Walmart, of course), and all transactions will be done over the internet.

I went into Hi-Fi Heaven about a year ago to drool over the gear they had back there. The 8 foot mac speakers they had were insane. Also enjoyed talking to one of the guys about when they had 2 of the JL home woofers in one demo room. Pretty solid little place they have and the only place of any knowledge I found in the Green Bay area.

yep those macs are gone now. and its sad. They still carry Krell and Vanderstien, Legacy Audio, MIT ect but McIntosh was like my fav that they had. The sales people are very knowledgable and give some good advice. Guess I might have to settle for Krell if I ever get the job I want :)
