Dsw pro 600

I purchased this sub through the Polk online store. I wanted to give it a few months before making any judgement. It replaced a 6 year old JBL unit.

I am very pleased with this unit. It is in a 20x18 room with hardwoods. My satellites are Rti4s and I thought they may be a tad small to keep up with the 600 sub. It took some trial and error to get things like I prefer but I am very happy with the results. I use the system for about 90% AV but the 10% of the time I get to listen to music, I want something tight and crisp. This combo achieves that.

The sub, once dialed in with my AVR, delivers tight bass with very very little if any boomy bass. Of course with every source having its own mix it is very difficult to get a consistent response from any system. That is where the 600's remote comes in handy. I don't have to go to it often but it is there when you need to tone down some over done network guys audio presentation!

Bottom line, very happy with the sub. Great prices at the Polk online store.
