I have spoken of these in the past, and I usually pick them up while I'm at Target. They are all 24 bit, DDD and (at least the 9 I have) are wonderfully recorded. I have so-called audiophile recordings that can't compete with these CD's for realism. Some of my favorites are:
Smooth Jazz
Imagine Santa Fe
Piano/Violin Music
Mexico
Best of Latin (2-CD set)

Looking at the website, it appears some of the older releases are only available in MP3 (bummer) maybe the CD's can be found on-line elsewhere....Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Steve, I shop CDs exclusively at Amazon, but those find at Target look pretty good. My local target has long gave up on Jazz or similar selections. Now they are full of raps, latin, and other mainstream tastes.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

The Lifescapes CD's are over by the greeting cards usually, In a display by themselves. Target's regular CD selection is usually pretty bad.
I regularly use "Smooth Jazz" as a reference CD.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
