Proceeds of this sale payable to "The Githens Center" c/o George Grand
Stax SRA-12S Integrated Amplifier For Ear Speakers (FET-Preamplifier combined with Class-A Headphone Amplifier)
I purchased this new in 1977 and it has served as an excellent phono stage and line stage in several systems I owned over the years. It's in 8+ condition cosmetically with two very tiny nicks in the top edge (not face) of the faceplate and about a dozen specks of white paint 1/4 the size of a pin head on the top of the case (see photo).
Do some research, this piece is prized by Stax enthusiasts with original electrostatic headphones. It could probably bring close to $1000 from the right buyer. I don't have time to market it, plus I really want to help George break the record for contributions to Githens this year. So, buy it and cherish it or flip it on the open market.
