This guy clains to have some Japanese-made SDA. They are incorrectly ID'd as SDA-2's but clearly they are the SRS-2's. Were these speakers built in Japan? I always assumed they were made here in the USofA.

Perhaps he means the drivers are made in Japan. Maybe it was ordered by a serviceman and imported INTO Japan courtesy of the US Military. Or maybe it's just Craigslist know-nothing bullsh!t.

Some of my 1B drivers say they're made in USA, others say they're "Engineered" in the USA. I suspect Polk began offshoring drivers all those years ago.

I'm suspecting the new drivers are all made in China; but my RDO 198s showed up in generic "white boxes" with no mention at all of country-of-origin. Which is scary in itself.
